Proverbs 6:5-11

Perhaps you went to the ant
and considered her ways.
You watched;

she provided, she gathered -
meat and food, meat and food –
no guide or overseer,

no ruler, or apparent point.
All those hours
of meatless considering,

they tired you out,
didn’t they? I think
you welcomed the hunter,

the fowler too,
I think you welcomed them
and folded your hands.
